To speed up the process, you can put a bed or an iron bar around the villager. This will make the cure process faster, but it only has a 10% effect. Once you’ve cured the zombie villager, it will regenerate. This process isn’t permanent, so it will take a few minutes.
5. Search in really unusual places nearby. Unfortunately, there is no really quick way to do this tip. You may have noticed by now that villagers occasionally do some pretty strange things. For example, it can happen that you will find a group of villagers climbing up steep surfaces and just getting stuck.
Villagers won't wear mob heads either. To recreate bug: Place a dispenser next to a villager or zombie, put a mob head or helmet in it, and fire it. Expected behavior: the villager or zombie will be wearing the item. Actual result: The dispenser misfires or throws the item on the ground.
In the legacy console edition, zombie villagers no longer spawn from spawners because they have their own spawn egg. I'm not sure about java because despite zombie villagers being a seperate entity, there are no notes about not spawning from spawners. (this info was on the minecraft wiki btw) nervousmelon. Villagers don’t despawn at all. Well, one of mine despawned bit when I named them they don't. when they despawn it's due to a bug. the nametag doesn't prevent the bug. villagers despawning is not supposed to happen, but it does happen as a bug rarely. i think it happens more often in bedrock.
Make em breed maybe the childern wont despawn. If you have your world set to hard difficulty, villagers cannot be killed by zombies only infected, whereas on easy mode they WILL die. (50% for normal) Java btw. If you can, give them a name, a less reliable but easier way, is just throw blocks at them until they pick one up. They dont even despawn.
Here is a simple method i used to add door breaking to all of my zombies that spawned, however you can use this method for ANY tag. Code (Text): public static void setTeg (Entity entity, String tag2, int value) {. net.minecraft.server.v1_10_R1.Entity nmsEntity = ( (CraftEntity) entity).getHandle (); NBTTagCompound tag = null;
I would like to keep a few hostile mobs from despawning in my 1.5.2 world. I can't figure out a way to do it, however. I'm pretty sure using the anvil/spawn egg renaming trick doesn't stop them from despawning (if it does please tell me, i have not tested this).
Zombie villagers that are in the process of converting do not despawn if the player moves far away from them, but like all monsters, they despawn if the difficulty is changed to Peaceful. Specific to Java Edition. If a zombie villager was a nitwit before it was transformed into a zombie villager, it remains a nitwit.
